As a budtender, they must only serve customers who are 19 years old and above and most importantly not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. There is no registration or requirement such as the need to be a Canadian citizen or be a patient under medication. But customers who have kept their history of cannabis consumption will be greatly helpful since budtenders will be able to quickly grasp and have an understanding of what you’ve taken in the past and give better suggestions if needed. First-timers can find this beneficial because a lot of products like a cannabis energy drink, cannabis lube, CBD pills, and other new offerings have been on the market lately.
Basically, there are three questions that every budtender will pop to their customers.
- What kind?
Budtenders ask this question to know the method and product you need. The method of consumption can be either you would like to eat or smoke. They will also need to know if you will go with THC or CBD. As we all know, THC produces a high sensation while CBD is more on the feelings of well-being.
